overhear website hosting is geared toward the needs of indie artists and music-related businesses. Actually, those are the only types of sites we host! The base plans are suitable for artists with an indie budget or a modest amount of media files to host. These plans are also suitable for music-related businesses - live music venues, management companies, recording studios, media replication companies, music organisations and so on.

Hosting accounts support http streaming of various media files, including MP3, mpeg video, Windows Media, Real audio and video, and Quicktime. Your website also supports Macromedia Flash files.
Hosting with overhear also includes you in our music community. Visitors to hosting.overhear.com will be able to browse through or search for artists and businesses hosting with us. This helps you by increasing your advertising on the web for no extra cost over and above your hosting fees.

hosting.overhear accepts payments online using PayPal
We accept payments in U.S. Dollars and Canadian Dollars only, but when paying through PayPal, you can pay in U.S. Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, or Yen and it will be automatically converted at the time of payment. PayPal allows you to make payments using a variety of credit cards, or you transfer money to your PayPal account directly from your bank.
We also accept payment by cheque or money order in Canadian funds only. Cheques are held for 1 (one) week until our bank clears payment before setting up a new account.
